Yarrabah is an Aboriginal Community about 45 mins from Cairns and there is currently about 3000 people living there including a few of our brothers. They hold a Sunday meeting every 2 weeks at the local high school and have been getting anywhere between 35 - 60 people in attendance regularly. A field service group also meets there every weekend and a couple of days during the week.
Jonno was asked to give his first Public Talk there so I thought I would share a couple of pics from that. I only have a few as I forgot to charge the camera battery beforehand (bad wife!). He did a great job and his facial expressions show he really got into his talk. The talk was titled "Appreciating Marvels of God's Creation" and it was handy that the room used for the meetings is the science room, so there were some props available to use. So Jonno got to give his first public talk in an Aboriginal Community, in the High School Science Lab without a 'coat'.
